Nikkei Multicultural Performance

On Feb 1, Tian-Jin Temple's very own Eight Generals Troupe and Drum Formation team were invited to the Lunar New Year celebrations at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre. Over 20 organizations participated in the multicultural event.

At the festivities, Tian-Jin Temple set up a booth to display the winning masterpieces from last September's Tian-Jin Centennial Cup, an annual calligraphy competition. Additionally, volunteers handed out lunar calendars for those interested in knowing what may be coming in the year ahead.

At 1:30 pm, the Tian-Jin Temple performing arts team took to the stage, delivering an awe-inspiring and breathtaking performance, using creative dance and complex drum patterns to convey the legend of Nian, a Lunar New Year tale.
