From Sept 25 to Oct 25, 2020, British Columbia held the annual Culture Days, a multi-week celebration of arts, culture, and heritage. The TJ Drum Formation was invited to perform on stage via an online platform, due to the COVID-19 arrangement. The lively and entertaining performance showcased an important part of Taiwanese culture, where traditional drummers strike up complex rhythms in synchronization on large, wooden drums.

TJ Drum Formation was launched in 2011 by Daniel Yu, with the goal to unite youth and adults alike to enjoy the coordinated art of drumming. The group practices on a weekly basis and is frequently invited to multicultural shows and events.
