Come celebrate with us at TJ Fest 2026

We’re excited to welcome you to TJ Fest, our annual outdoor celebration featuring delicious Taiwanese food, family-friendly activities, and a street market of community vendors and local artisans.
Food lovers can explore a variety of classic street eats, from crispy Taiwanese-style fried chicken and freshly made wheel cakes, to savory fried wontons and takoyaki. Whether you’re coming hungry or just looking to snack as you stroll, there’s plenty to enjoy. Light refreshments and drinks will also be available throughout the park.
But TJ Fest is more than just great food. It’s a space to gather, play, and make memories. In the nearby Avonsdale Park, families can browse artisan booths, enjoy interactive games, and have fun in a pet-friendly area that’s perfect for kids and animal lovers alike. In the park, you’ll find a full lineup of programming on a large outdoor stage, featuring performances from diverse cultural groups that reflect the richness of our community. A large LED screen at Smith Avenue and Laurel Street will also livestream performances, so you won’t miss a moment no matter where you are.
Additionally, at the heart of TJ Fest is a celebration of cultural heritage. We are honoured to host a visiting group from the Dajia Jenn Lann Temple in Taiwan. From May 1 to 3, the statue of the goddess, Mazu, will be present at Tian-Jin Temple, taking part in the festival’s cultural celebrations and adding a sense of tradition and blessing to the experience.
And to make things even more exciting, festival-goers will have the chance to win one economy round-trip ticket, generously sponsored by China Airlines.
Whether you’re coming with friends, bringing the whole family, or simply exploring on your own, TJ Fest is the perfect place to spend your day. Come for the food, stay for the culture, and leave with memories.
