Each February, tens of thousands of Canadians step out of the coziness of their homes to spread a message of welcome and compassion throughout their communities. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $75,000,000 across 190 Canadian communities.

On February 24, 2024, volunteers from Tian-Jin Temple took to the streets of Burnaby for the event, proudly showcasing their support for the cause.

With 2km and 5km signed routes, complete with rest stops staffed by dedicated organization members, Tian-Jin Temple volunteers journeyed through the frosty air, knowing that every step brought warmth and support to those facing adversity. Along the way, they were welcomed by smiles and snacks, a small token of appreciation from the event organizers.
