On March 19, 2023, a group of high school students from Little Rock City, Arkansas, USA, visited Tian-Jin Temple on the recommendation of the Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. The primary objective of their visit was to learn about the range of cultures and religions in the Lower Mainland.

TJ Living volunteers, Mike and Lotus, took the time to lead the high-schoolers on a tour around the temple. This included a walk along the garden path, as well as detailed introductions to the murals.

By the end of the visit, the high-schoolers had a much better understanding of Taoism, as well as elements of traditional Chinese culture, which is often embedded with religion.
